Standard Edition: verified, region by region
The Standard Edition costs $69.99 in the US, confirmed on the Steam store API (initial equals final, no launch discount). We pulled the same API per region, so these are store-data figures, not aggregations:

A correction worth repeating: figures of £69.99 and €79.99 circulated widely before launch and are wrong for the Standard Edition by the store data. The Standard includes the full game: campaign, multiplayer and DMZ.
Vault Edition: $99.99, digital only
The Vault Edition costs $99.99 and exists only as a digital purchase; there is no physical Vault box on any store shelf. Every store listing and report agrees on the number, but it has still never appeared in an official Activision page text, so this wiki keeps it labeled partial rather than official. Regional Vault figures reported from live store listings: HK$778 on the Hong Kong PlayStation Store (Standard HK$568 there) and ¥493 on the Chinese Steam and Xbox stores. Physical editions exist only for Xbox Series X and PS5, and a physical copy cannot be upgraded to Vault. What the Vault actually contains, item by item.
Upgrade path: $30
If you buy Standard first, you can upgrade to the Vault Edition for $30 (manufacturer's suggested retail price, or your regional equivalent, per Activision's own page). The upgrade applies to digital copies only.
The 10% loyalty discount
Owners of qualifying earlier Call of Duty titles get 10% off the Vault Edition on the official platform store, until October 23, 2026. The rules, from Activision's support page:
- You must own and have played a qualifying title on the same platform account.
- Titles claimed and played through PlayStation Plus Monthly Games count.
- An active Game Pass Ultimate, Premium or PC subscription counts if you played a qualifying title through it.
- Owning a qualifying title on a previous-generation console in the same console family carries over when pre-ordering on the current-gen version.
- Free-to-play and mobile titles do not qualify.
- The discount does not apply to the $30 upgrade purchase, only to a direct Vault Edition buy.
Qualifying titles (8): Modern Warfare (2019), Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered (2020), Black Ops Cold War, Vanguard, Modern Warfare II (2022), Modern Warfare III (2023), Black Ops 6, Black Ops 7.
Either edition unlocks the same content on the same day: the release date and the early access window apply to Standard and Vault alike, on all four platforms.
